Course Rules and Policies
General Conduct
All golfers must play in groups of 4 or fewer. Please respect the course, promptly follow instructions given by staff, maintain a reasonable pace of play, repair divots, and keep carts on designated paths. Horseplay or disruptive behavior is not allowed. By booking a tee time, players agree to follow these and all following rules to ensure everyone enjoys their round.
Reservation Policy
All non-members are required to book tee times online, while members may reserve by calling the clubhouse at 317-559-5928. Tee times can be reserved up to 7 days in advance. Walk-ins are welcome and will be placed in the next available tee time.
Tee times may be moved to another day as long as the tee time is not within 24 hours of the scheduled start. If a change is requested within 24 hours, it may only be moved to a later tee time on the same day.
Rain checks are only available in the event of bad weather, at the discretion of clubhouse staff.
Groups larger than eight players must be arranged by emailing the GM at tsmith@saddlebrookgolfclub.org
All green and cart fees are collected at check-in in the clubhouse. No-shows will be charged the full reserved green and cart fee to the credit card on file. No exceptions. By booking a tee time, golfers agree to no-show charges, and to follow all club rules and policies.
Pairings & Spectators
All groups are expected to hold to staff-assigned pairings. Spectators are not permitted during peak times of before 1pm on Weekends/Holidays and between 12pm-2pm on Weekdays . Outside of peak times, riders may be allowed at the discretion of clubhouse staff.
All players must have their own set of clubs. For golfers without clubs, rentals are available in the clubhouse for $15 per set.
Golf Carts
Golfers must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart. Carts must always remain on the cart path near tees, near greens, and on all par 3 holes. Additional cart rules are posted at both the front desk and the first tee, and all golfers are expected to review and follow them. Golfers observed operating carts in a reckless manner will be asked to leave.
Food & Beverage Policy
Outside coolers are not permitted on the property. Groups found with an outside cooler will have it removed for the remainder of their round and returned after play. In addition, outside alcohol is explicitly prohibited under state law and may not be brought onto the course.
Junior Golfer Policy
Children under 12 play free during non-peak times when accompanied by a paying adult. Reservations must still be made for all players, including children.
